Click here to fill out the online form.     Women's Ministry Women with a Mission to encourage growth, personal development, and leadership among women and to contribute to the general welfare of the home, church, community and the world. The ladies ministry at the Sumiton Church of God sponsor several ministries and provide a way for women to give and receive spiritual growth and guidance. We sponsor several ministries, such as the Food Bank, Bus Ministry, Senior Adult Ministry (Keenagers), Girls Clubs, Hospitality and many more. Men's Ministry The Men's ministries help support men to develop personal relationships through Christian fellowship and ministry within the church and local community. With this goal in mind the men of the Sumiton Church of God have weekly prayer meetings and special events throughout the year. S.O.L.O. SOLO - Singles Overcoming Life's Obstacles is the name of our singles ministry at the Sumiton Church of God. It states our goal which is to overcome any obstacle that has come our way. Single and on your own after divorce or death can be a tough obstacle to overcome. Trusting in God's direction, we are moving forward with Him to start the healing process and to guide our path. Join us to get plugged in and start interacting with other Christians who share in your same goals. (Directors - Kathy Gray & Connie Kilpatrick) Divorce Care Divorce Care is another outreach ministry. This is a great ministry to help the divorced person start the healing process with God as the center of healing. This is a 13 weekly sessions dealing with anger, depression, loneliness, forgiveness, new relationships, financial survival and moving on and growing closer to God. Classes are every Wednesday night at 7pm on a need basis. Please call the church if you are interested in this class at 205.648.3257. We strive to be flexible with you. (Directors - Kathy & David Gray, & Connie Kilpatrick) Keenagers Keenagers is our Senior Adults Ministry to help senior citizens age 55 or above further develop their spiritual and social life. Join us for our monthly dinners, outings, game night, and senior luncheon. We travel to various restaurants in the Birmingha, Jasper, and Cullman area once a month and make trips to places like Stone Mountain and Calloway Gardens. On the 1st and 3rd Thursday nights of the month, we meet in the life center from 5pm to 8pm for food, fun, and games. On the 2nd Monday of each month we gather for food and fellowship. Bring your favorite dish! Our goal is to involve senior adults in fruitful and fulfilling ministry, reach out to seniors who are not connected, and provide active fellowship opportunities.
